Currently our Ridgefield, NJ facility is seeking a Color Chemist for our QC Department. Due to our dedicated service and innovation to our clients, this is anewly created position for IMMEDIATE HIRING! Qualified candidates will work within a team environment.

The Quality Control (QC) Color Chemist provides support for the manufacturing of quality bulk color products, documents for WIP (work in process) and finished good products manufactured and shipped from CEI Ridgefield; works with Production to assure proper filling, pressing and assembling of filled items according to standards and specifications.

He or she will:

• Evaluate in process samples of bulk color products compared to standards and specifications.
• Make necessary in process batch adjustments for bulk color products, e.g., Shade matching, appearance, viscosity, pressing, …
• Review test data, including microbiological and drug assay, for bulk color product disposition.
• Interface with Color R&D for batch adjustments on out of specification manufactured bulk color products.
• Interface with Production to support internal filling requirements.
• Generate certificates of analyses for each batch of manufactured bulk color products including tests, product specifications and results.
